Durham, NC (September 24, 2007) - XDS, Inc., a privately held company targeting the digital virtualization market, today announced continued expansion of its executive management team with the appointment of technology industry veteran Brian Allain as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Corporate Marketing. Brian brings to XDS more than 25 years of marketing, management and operations experience working with industry-leading technology companies and startups.

In the role of EVP of Marketing, Brian has overall responsibility for the company�s marketing strategy and activities. Prior to joining XDS, Brian has launched a range of successful product businesses at both startups and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Voice and Data Business Unit at 3Com where he was responsible for the company�s IP PBX systems, switches, routers, wireless, unified threat management, and network management products. Prior to 3Com, Brian was President of Ranch Networks, COO of GeoVideo Networks and VP of Marketing at dynamicsoft. He also held management roles with Avaya, Lucent, AT&T and Bell Labs.
