The SIMtone XAS service is a single, secure, network-based portal for service providers, enterprises and consumers to configure, provision and manage each and any of their SIMtone services offering a virtual console to manage subscribers access and privileges, service features, access points and SNAP Terminals, monitor the performance of their Servers and Connectors, Trouble Ticketing & Self-help and view Billing statements and history.

• Administration - Activate, manage and profile access, service features and policies to an unlimited number of SIMtone servers for each user, on demand, on the fly, from the SIMtone, without any server software installation or reconfiguration.
• Performance - Monitor the performance of each SIMtone Server and Connectors and the overall performance of the SIMtone Network.
• Service Portal - Electronically file and track trouble tickets, review FAQs and access Self-help documents, processes and procedures.
• Billing - View current and historical billing statements.

SIMtone XAS is an administrative dashboard which allows to manage all aspects of any number of SIMtone servers (or services) in an on-demand and real time fashion. The dashboard provides "remote control" management from the network for critical services, features, and devices.

It helps organizations be more agile and secure. It enables real time on-demand management for any number of SIMtone Servers, enabling very low cost, secure, continuous control of Desktop services for the Enterprise or a Service Provider, even during catastrophic conditions. And by providing centralized control the Dashboard also provides another layer of secure defense for the organization.

It is a completely network based, multiple service management console, that allows administrators to set access and service privileges for any number of SIMtone Servers connected to the SIMtone, their subscribers and the features available to them. The SIMtone XAS does not access, retrieve, store or manage any Enterprise Server data or user information.

Privileges can be based on user or groups, service features available, device type, device ID, access point, vendor and groups thereof, including which devices and locations are allowed and what kind of SNAP Terminals they may use.

It also permits for the establishment of groups and the standard policies which apply to those groups.
