The SIMtone VDU (Virtual Desktop Utility) is the integrated Business Desktop service offering of SIMtone Corporation, that provides Businesses with a choice of turnkey, SLA-based SIMtone service plans, dedicated installation and support, hi-availability servers and configurations and discounted SNAP terminals, for a low monthly fee.
SIMtone VDU service plans offer both seamless access to SIMtone or other existing corporate desktop servers, as well as business continuity/disaster recovery plans. The SIMtone VDU is practically plug and play. Its activation on the corporate network generally requires less than four hours, after which, any number and any mix of Desktop Servers can be used from the SIMtone, providing unparalleled business agility with no upfront investment required, seamless employee mobility inside and outside the offices, and complete security.
